On 26 August, TNO will be organising an interactive workshop entitled Demonstration of open-source tools for detailed techno-economic evaluation of geothermal well designs, during which new open-access tools will be presented. The tools are part of the EVEREST software, which is being used in WP2 within the Geo4all research programme.
This interactive workshop is organised as part of the EU GEOTHERMICA RESULT project. During the workshop, three modules will be explained and demonstrated:
- Selection of well concepts (EVEREST framework)
- PyResultWells – rapid semi-analytical modelling of reservoirs
- PyThermoNomics – economic evaluation of geothermal projects
This workshop is particularly relevant for operators, engineers, policymakers, researchers and other professionals involved in geothermal heat supply and business cases.
