On Tuesday 30 September, the annual General Assembly Event of the Geo4all innovation programme will take place at KAS in Woerden. During the morning session, the project partners involved will meet in working groups to discuss the progress of the programme and exchange experiences. In the afternoon, the meeting will be open to a wider audience.
The afternoon session will focus on knowledge sharing. Among other things, there will be an interview with the Geo4all programme manager about the most important insights from the innovation programme, followed by updates from the various work packages. There will also be a keynote speech by Olof van der Gaag, chairman of the Dutch Sustainable Energy Association (NVDE). He will discuss the current state of affairs in the energy transition – with an emphasis on heat – and the role and potential of geothermal energy. The central question: What can the geothermal sector do to strengthen its role in the heat transition?
