Visit to Nature’s Heat for Work Package 4

At Nature’s Heat, TU Delft will carry out a measurement campaign to gain a better understanding of the subsurface. Additionally, TNO and TU Delft will install sensors and conduct a modeling study to examine the effect of geothermal extraction on the subsurface. This is part of Work Package 4: 3M Coldfront & induced seismicity.

Loes Buijze, Elise Calignano, and Bouris Boullenger were warmly welcomed last September by Paul van Schie at the greenhouse complex of Nature’s Heat. Nature’s Heat is a joint initiative of nine horticultural companies in Kwintsheul and is a partner in the Geo4All program, which focuses on innovations in geothermal extraction.
